We’re delighted to introduce Mr. Ethan Geis, our newest volunteer teacher at ABVN!
Originally from the U.S, Mr. Ethan now lives in Yucca Valley, California. As an accountant specializing in small businesses and real estate, he is passionate about supporting business owners, not just through numbers but through genuine human connections. Working independently allows him to engage deeply with entrepreneurs and help them grow in meaningful ways.
In 2020, Ethan and his wife took on an exciting challenge moving to Portugal without knowing the language or culture. Determined to connect with their new community, they started learning Portuguese. This journey not only helped them adapt but also brought them lifelong friendships. Their Portuguese teacher became more than just an instructor she was a mentor and a friend. Inspired by this experience, Ethan now hopes to help Vietnamese students gain confidence in English and enjoy the learning process.
Outside of work, Ethan is passionate about traveling, motorcycles, music, and, of course, spending time with his beloved dog, Dottie.
