Dr. Karen Popovich is a tenured professor in the business administration and accounting department at Saint Michael's College. She is now serving a second 3-year term as department chairperson of the College's largest academic program. Dr. Popovich earned her undergraduate, master's and doctorate from the College of Business at Cleveland State University, in Cleveland, Oh. Her prior work experience includes Assistant Director of Operations for Cleveland State's Financial Aid Office. She gained teaching experience working with adults at Lorain County Community College. Her doctorate is in operations management with a specific focus in strategic enrollment management for higher education.   When not teaching or working with students, she enjoys skiing local mountains. In the summer, she enjoys motorcycle trips through windy Vermont and New England roads and visiting her family in Cleveland, Ohio.
