Part 1: Start a conversation with your partner. Talk about the following:

- Do you like to watch films?

- How often do you go to the cinema or watch a movie?

- What kind of movies do you like best? Why?

- What was the first film that you watched?

- Do you think watching films has educational benefits?

- Do you like art?

- What kind of paintings do Vietnamese people like?

- What can you learn from Western paintings?

- What benefits can you get from painting as a hobby?

Part 2: Visual-based conversation.

Both students and volunteers are asked to find two visuals representing the theme of Film & Art (e.g., Google images, their own pictures): one for Vietnam and the other for the volunteer’s country (2 photos for each person). They are also asked to prepare five discussion questions for each visual image.

Part 3: Have a conversation about one of the following situations.

- You would like to invite your friend to go to the cinema. Ask him/her about his/her favorite film.

- Your friend has just been to an art gallery. Ask him/her about a painting or work of art that he/she has seen in the gallery.

Part 4: Free talk.
