Biography
My name is Jazila Ashura and I am from South Africa. I live in the Suburban area of Cape Town. I am a Medical Bioscience graduate with a passion for teaching.
I have been a tutor for about 5 years. Which has further increased my love for teaching. I am hoping to get more exposure to teaching before, I undergo further studies, and I believe a better Vietnam would be a great start for me.
I love the idea of A Better Vietnam project, and as an aspiring teacher and experienced tutor, having students who are willing and motivated to learn are the best of students to teach as they have clear goals and are committed to achieving them. And I would like to be part of their educational journey.
I love reading fiction and manga, Watching anime, Baking, Cooking, and taking long walks.
Focus of teaching
I will mainly focus on Conversational English and implementing the Oral-Verbal Method.
Conversational English emphasizes listening and speaking skills. Therefore, in these lessons, we will focus on improving your speaking and listening abilities through everyday conversations and interactions.
The Oral-Verbal method uses repetition, drills, and mimicry to reinforce language patterns.
