My name is Cheryl Princehorn and I am from Queensland, Australia.
I have been living and working in Hoi An for the past four years with my husband John. During the last two years, I have had the opportunity to work in China teaching English for a study tour and a general conversational English program. Before arriving in Vietnam, I worked for the Australian Government, in the areas of administration, education, health, and professional services sectors. My expertise resides in governance, organisational change, business capability and human resources. My professional experience is supported by a Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Administrative Leadership and Professional TESOL obtained through Australian universities. Currently I work for a medium size English language centre in Hoi An and as a Cambridge Assessment English Speaking Examiner in Danang.
When I am not working I enjoy travelling, reading, exercising and enjoying the everyday experiences life offers in Vietnam. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and skills with students, especially in the areas of IELTS, business and hospitality English. It is a privilege to teach students English and I am proud of several students that I have taught that have gone on to win national speaking competitions. As a teacher its rewarding to have played a small part in the student’s growth and development.
