On 11 June 2020 A Better Vietnam had the first official meeting with Danang Architecture University. In attendance were Chi Mai, ABVN founder, and Mr Guillermo, Jon, Peter and Tony, ABVN volunteer teachers. For D.A.U. there was Pham Anh Tuan, President of D.A.U. and Nguyen Thi Tuyet, Dean of Foreign Languages at D.A.U.
The purpose of the meeting was a formal introduction of both organisations with a view to explore future collaborations. In particular, A Better Vietnam volunteer teachers will have the opportunity to act as guest speakers at the university to extend the ideals of ABVN to a wider range of students. This is a valuable first step toward partnerships in the education sector.
All the attendees agreed that collaboration is a worthwhile goal for both organisations and all look forward to making further contributions to the education of Vietnam’s youth in the future.
